He needs no introduction. Animation, screen printing, comic book illustrations, collages, experimental films, paintings, sculpture… Keiichi Tanaami has been working in Pop Art for over 50 years. A new exhibition, entitled Keiichi Tanaami Dialogue, brings together twenty of his as yet unseen works and offers a chance to admire this artist at the peak of his career.
In recent years, the 82-year-old has focused on transcribing passages of his life, creating only from his own memories. The exhibition will be at Kyoto-ddd-Gallery from 28th August to 23rd October 2018.
