At 82, Keiichi Tanaami is Still the King of Pop Art

He needs no introduction. Animation, screen printing, comic book illustrations, collages, experimental films, paintings, sculpture… Keiichi Tanaami has been working in Pop Art for over 50 years. A new exhibition, entitled Keiichi Tanaami Dialogue, brings together twenty of his as yet unseen works and offers a chance to admire this artist at the peak of his career.
In recent years, the 82-year-old has focused on transcribing passages of his life, creating only from his own memories. The exhibition will be at Kyoto-ddd-Gallery from 28th August to 23rd October 2018.
