Léo Berne, Polygamous Photographer

© Léo Berne
Léo Berne has two loves: Japan, and the magnetic Mathilde Warnier. It is this dual passion which inspires him to produce trivial, fascinating, often sensual images, which he posts on his Instagram account.
In these photo postcards, the insignificant is projected into the exotic. By modestly depicting his partner in touching portraits, the author of For the Aliens (a photographic guide to human civilisation aimed at extraterrestrials) is once again seeking to transcend the fineness of the ordinary.
