Dinings, From Traditional Cuisine to Japanese Tapas

03.07.2019

It is in London, within the walls of an Edwardian house, that the two chefs Masaki Sugisaki and Tomonari Chiba began serving up pure, traditional Japanese izakaya cuisine. With a cosy but pared back atmosphere, the food always came first. Over the years the pair began to draw inspiration from diverse European specialities and developed what they called ‘Japanese tapas’. In other words, they began serving a unique fusion cuisine with dishes such as sea bass carpaccio with sashimi tacos. Happily for Dinings fans not only is this inventiveness a great success, but also you’ll still find a great beef wagyu and sushi.
