Book and Bed, a Sleepover in a Library

Whose never dreamt of spending the night in a library? It’s now possible at Book and Bed, a chain of unique hotels in Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Asakusa, Fukuoka and Kyoto.
In this book dream land, beds are subtly hidden behind shelves filled with over 1700 works in Japanese and English. Without comfy mattresses or squishy pillows, the idea is that you sit down to read for a couple of hours before drifting off.
For less than £50 per night, the basic bedding situation is made up for with the richness of a night spent among the words of great authors. There is also always the option of setting up camp on one of the sofas with a pile of books and staying until they’re done!
