This Tokyo Plant Shop Hides a Beautiful Tea Room

Aoyama Flower Market is a shop located in Tokyo’s Aoyama district. At the back of the store, nestled between bouquets and potted plants, hides a door that gives way to a beautiful tea room, ornately decorated with plants and flowers from floor to ceiling.
The Aoyama Flower Market Tea House plunges guests into a country setting. Each week, the decoration shifts by highlighting a particular flower. This passion for nature is reflected even in the tea infusions with plants and flowers and on plates, such as the house specialty, French toast with edible flowers.
With decor and tea both equally delicious, this lounge offers a relaxing green-fingered break in the heart of Tokyo.
