Launched in 2016, INDUSTRIAL JP is an experimental project that transforms small factories in Japan with cutting-edge technology into music labels. Assigning one musician to one workshop, each project produces a music video that captures original sounds heard from the manifacturing processes as well as unique movements of the machines.
Awards include: Grand Prix Prize at the Tokyo Art Directors Club 2017, Golden Award at the Good Design Award 2017, Award of Excellence at JAPAN MEDIA ARTS FESTIVAL and awards at Cannes Lions 2017, NY ADC 2017 and SPIKES ASIA 2017.
This second episode of the series ‘Pen x INDUSTRIAL JP REMIX’ presents ‘SHIN-EI Press’ by the Japanese house and techno master DJ Gonno, remixed by the leading French techno producer VOISKI.
Ocillating between experimental projects and the production of tracks marked by his original style, VOISKI has struck a singular path in techno music. Launched his own label Super 95 in 2017, he has released the long-awaited first album ‘Disconnections, Music for Clouds’.
