PAISLEY PARKS “MEIKO WIRE”
Pen × INDUSTRIAL JP
This experimental music project brings cutting-edge technology to Japanese craftsmanship to create music labels from back alley workshops. One musician is assigned to one workshop, producing hypnotic sounds and scenes of the manufacturing process.
Accolades include: Grand Prix Prize at the Tokyo Art Directors Club 2017, Golden award at the Good Design Award 2017, Cannes Lions 2017, NY ADC 2017 and Spikes Asia 2017 in overseas.
The most recent work brings visuals and sounds together from Meiko Futaba, a factory that specializes in electric wires and harnesses. The high-tech JUKE dance music comes from Chicago.
