With a latitude of 26º North and a longitude of 141º East, Rebun pokes out from the ocean northwest of Hokkaido. It’s Japan’s north-most island, and traveling its coastline would take one on a 72km round trip. From sea level to its highest point at 490 meters, this micro-thermal island is blanketed with flora.
